Ginkgo Maidenhair Tree (Male) – 3 Gallon Pot

This was my first time using this company and I found them on a random Google search. Man, I am so glad that I did. This company was so quick with shipping and kept me updated through the entire process. The item arrived within a week of ordering and it was in EXCELLENT condition. It was placed in the box in a way that all of the leaves and branches were untouched and everything was in perfect condition. This beautiful tree is now planted in the ground and thriving : )

Bluffton has sandy soil, high humidity, and lots of bugs. Think swamp. This tree is perfect for my location in that it can handle these challenges. I researched extensively and definitely wanted a male tree for my specific purpose. Finding one has been challenging – none of the nurseries in my area carry Ginkgo at all. And online, finding a decent sized male is not easy.
The tree came well packaged, in soil, and has adapted with relative ease in transplantation. It arrived healthy and strong with a solid stock. I will be purchasing from Wilson Bros again. A well established tree with a nice healthy root ball in its soil/pot. It was easy to plant based on the marking on the trunk to know where to plant. Nice healthy tree and very well packaged for delivery. I snagged the 3 gallon version so it’s pretty tall already. This beautiful little tree was sooo well protected and packaged. It was tied in the box securely, there were damp paper towels (?) placed around its trunk bottom and the soil was moist. Very impressed! It’s been a couple weeks now and it has lost 3 leaves but is adapting nicely. The tree arrived in very good condition. The box was more than adequate to insure the plant was safely transported. It also shipped very quickly! I have wanted a gingko tree for several years and am very happy to finally have one. While the trunk was a little curvy for my taste, I’m sure it will be fine once it begins growing.——————————————It should strighten as it grows, you might be able to stake it and straighten it up some. I had never ordered a tree through the mail and never ordered from Wilson Brothers. The tree I received could not have been better! Straight, healthy as tall as I could hope For in a 3 gallon container. Communication was perfect. I knew when the tree shipped and I know I had it 48 hours after it left. Thank you for sending the tree so promptly. It is larger than I expected and I got it planted right away. Just a comment about the shipping – The curved stabilization piece of cardboard scraped off the bark on the tree trunk at that spot, so it would help to put a piece of tree wrap or bubble wrap around the trunk to protect it.

My tree was delivered in great condition. I was impressed by the sturdy packaging and quick delivery. I followed the planting instructions and the tree is looking healthy and is thriving. I looked for a long time to find a male gingko tree. Of course, you can find gingko trees for sale on a lot of websites but Wilson’s was the only place I found that specified a male gingko. Wilson Bros does about the best job of packing small trees I have seen. I order Ginkgo Trees from several sources and never need to worry about shipping damage from Wilson. They are also very timely in getting my trees in the mail. All three trees are surviving so far after two weeks. I ordered the 5-6′ tall trees. Once planted these are only 4′ tall.
